Friday Night

Rufus Wainwright
Multitalented singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright is a fiendish font of creativity. He can move
from composing an opera - in French, no less - to re-creating the whole of Judy Garland's Iconic
Carnegie Hall concert, to doling out album after album of sharp, stylish pop songs. Wainwright's
performance is part of Performing Arts Fort Worth's expansive 2009-2010 season.
which also includes concerts from Lyke Lovett, Wyonna Judd, Robert Earl Keen and many more.
Tickets for Wainwright's gig, along with the other shows, go on sale at 10a.m. Saturday at
Bass Hall's box office 817-212-4280; www.basshall.com

Listen up gals. Drugstore mascaras are starting to catch up to their department-store counterparts in terms of technology. L'Oreal, which is brought to us by the same company that
produces Lancome, just released their new Extra Volume Collagen mascara ($8). The packaging
elegant and futuristic, and the collagen-packed formula glides on smoothly. No clumps! And though I couldn't tell you the exact size increase, the formula liiks like it comes close to its "12x the volume" promise. sacha fashionsita
