Valentine's
Valentine's treats don't have to come in a heart-shaped box. Pop open a bottle and toast your love instead.
Passionate kiss martini
. 1 ounce SKYY Infusions Passion Fruit vodka
. 1 ounce raspberry liqueur
. 2 ounces pineapple juice
. Strawberry for garnish
Pour all ingredients in a mixing pint filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into chilled martini glss. Garnish with two tine slices of strawberry floating on the surface of the cocktail.
Mix tip: Cut the sweetness of this kiss with a splach of prosecco or sparkling wine.

That question seems like the only appropriate response to a week of snowcovered roads and rotating blackouts, restless crowds, and falling icicles, TMZ following Ben Roethlisberger through downtown Fort Worth and makeshift stadium seats that weren't installed in time.

Don't try this at home
Over the centuries,people have gone to extremes to get rid of their sniffles and aches. A few radical remedies;
* Smearing goose grease on your chest and wrapping it with flannel
*Rubbing the soles of your feet with tallow and turpentine, and holding them against a wood stove.
*Getting passed three times under a horse's belly
*Having a fish skin tied to your feet
*Cupping, followed by blood-letting
*Going to sleep wearing a pair of cold, wet socks with a pair of thick dry socks on top of them
*Stuffing your nostrils with cut garlic cloves
*Pressing a warm, peeled hardboiled egg yo your forehead
*Eating snakeskin

Celebrate Chinese New Year on Feb 3, the beginning of the lunar year-So if you could use a little luck in the Year of the Rabbit here are a few customs to observe;
1. SWEET for Success. Clean your house from top to bottom to expel dust and disappointments
of the past year and usher in a bright future. Decorate with plants or flowers - But remember
All work must be done by midnight on Feb. 2 Swing a Swifter on New Years Day and you'll push luck rightout the door.
2DRESS for the Occassion. Buy new clothes to wear New Years Day- even better get something
red - it'sconsidered a lucky color.

SPACE
The famous Italian astronomer Galileo, during the course of his observations of the Milky Way, said that it was a mass of stars " so numerous as to be almost beyond belief."
Man has, since the beginning of the Space Age, advanced both in knowledge and in human flight. Many ideas that were formerly "beyond belief" have become solidly grounded as valid scientific concepts. These, in turn, become the "launching pad" for future scientists to plan and build; and for astronauts to summon incredible resources of skill and courage. Together, they- and many others - move mankind to the next space achivements which, said President John F. Kennedy, "may hold the key to our future on earth."

A drive along the highway from and to a destination or a leisure drive
The air is great spring and autumn the falls of the season winter
Long heard quote of " must go thru rain, sleet and snow" I think that's a misquote
The inclimate chill of January 31,11 winds of the 50'smph the temperature of the teens
the percipitation of rain, sleet, snow makes a icy scene
If you walk outside to the wonders of white snow and ice about an inch thick to reach the
car tread lightly hoping the key-hole isn't iced over or frozen shut - a sigh it opens with ease
sitting in the driver seat putting the key in and starting the perfection of February 1, 2011
Not going anywhere only warming the car and funny the sun starts to shine as the flurries
drift - Warmed and back to the place for - - -
A Bread Pudding Day

1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 c of milk
2 eggs whipped
1 tsp vanilla
(optional)nuts and chocolate chips, raisins, coconuts
Bake 35- 45 min. in a 350 oven
