Risk Factors

You are being asked to participate in this research study because you have
osteoarthritis (OA) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and you have cardiovascular
(heart and blood vessel) disease or risk factors for developing cardiovascular disease.

The study will involve the drugs celecoxib (Celebrex), ibuprofen, (such as Motrin or
Advil) and naproxen (such as Aleve). These medications are approved by the United
States Foods and Drug Administration (FDA) and in other countries for the treatment
of arthritis and pain.
