Our Foundation Principles
The Container Store was built on more than great products.
Our unique culture is structured around fundamental values,
and business philosophies about treating employees, customers
and vemdors - all stakeholders - with respect and dignity.
These are our seven Foundation Principles. Instead of using the
typical phone book sized retail procedural manual to guide
our decision-making (after all, retail is far too situational for
that), our Foundation Principles keep us on track, focused and
