Shop

Shop with a calculator - - - a weekly groceries - you're likely to spend less if you know precisely how much you're spending before you get to the cash register. If your budget is, say, $100.
set your calculator to that amount. Every time you put an item in your cart, subtract its price.
When you get to zero you're done.

We all know we can borrow books from the library, but did you know that many librairies also
lend video games and DVD's? Instead of buying a ticket to the movies, screen a DVD at home for the price of microwave popcorn. Feel the urge to splurge on clothes? Organize a swap with friends or neighbors instead. Their old-things will feel new to you.

The money you spend looking for a job may be trax-deductible.
