Glazed Almonds - Pecans

Combine 1 cup whole nuts , 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons butter
in heavy skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, til
nuts are coated and sugar is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Stir in
1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Spread nuts on aluminum foil. Cool. Break into
2 or 3 inch clusters. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
