symbolizing valor, strength and bravery. Valoroso
Toscano displays the Edelweis as a representation
of Count Placido's courage and determination in the
Battle of Montaperri. This battle brought peace to
the region and awarded Count Placido the vast estate
amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany where Valoroso
